Secret ways in finding the time to do what you love

Secret ways in finding the time to do what you love

As much as we believe or want to believe that we never have enough time we actually need to learn how to micromanage our time. Time is the most valuable thing and it is the one thing that once its gone its never replaced. But what we can do is learn how to manage our time so we can actually find the time to do what we love and get more done.

When we get more done in the times we have. It leaves us to plan better things or things we want to achieve. First of all I want you to spend a week to assess and record where and how you spend your time. Does social media, youtube drain your free time away? Then you think oh great I dont have time to write this or do that any more. You will be surprised how much time we actually waste. I am writing this from experience and being the most busy doesnt essentially mean the most productive.

Being productive requires management and completing tasks. So once you have taken a week and recorded your time daily. You will be surprised how much time you are actually wasting.

Wanna lose weight? Find that hour you waste daily and replace it with exercise or a brisk walk. Want to write? Find that hour and write for that whole hour and do nothing else. Want to relax? Use your time gaps in the day so you are more free in the evening. 1 minute wasted or used productively leads to an hour and do this for 365 days and guess what you have moved 365 hours ahead of your goal. That hour or times used properly serves you immensely in the long run freeing you up to do what you actually want.

For example.

I want to dedicate 7 podcasts a week. I can do this 2 ways. Well I tested both and will tell you what works better for me. I tried to do one daily and realised in the first week it took more of me and wasnt able to complete all 7. So I flipped it and decided to dedicate one morning or 1 hour to record all 7 that day. This worked so much better. I am now free to do what I want for the rest of the week feeling fulfilled and productive. Also with my blog I want to write one daily. I use any spare 15 mins or 30 mins of my travel and draft them in my notes and then email it to myself and upload later when I get access to my laptop. Instead of writing one a day I realise I am ahead of schedule being able to either do what makes me happy or working up a plan on other goals.

The time is there just learn how to use it.
